The ruins of Pompeii at sunset are a sight to be reckon with. Empty and barren, this place can seem out of this world, almist alien, but, as you get lost in the small streets, you can still breathe the life of this ancient city, and a feeling of melancholic romanticism stuck in time, impervious even to the destructive force of nature, overwhelms you at every broken column and stone.
